I have had to work late several nights this week, so D has been flying solo on most of the dinner preparation in our house. The other night I told him that we had a bunch of cabbage and a bunch of potatoes that we needed to use, so if he could figure out something to make with those, that would be great. I came home to find this Ethiopian Cabbage Dish waiting for me. Apparently he doubled the spices from what the recipe suggests and then added more at the end to taste, but maybe we just like our stuff well spiced. It was seriously good. It felt like more of a fall weather dish, but given that we ate it on the last humid night of this week, I think I’ll give D credit for ushering in this current wave of cooler, beautiful weather we’re experiencing!
